Wall of Customers!
Hello one and all!
I thought I would start this wall of customers as my wands are starting to take off. If you have bought a wand from me and would be so kind as to send a picture I will place it here to show what kind of wands I make, and who the happy new owners are. I will not list names, addresses or anything like that, this is just to show off the wands :D
Thanks to all who have purchased a wand from me, it means so much! If you would like to purchase one here is my etsy store link :)
Ok, here we go!

this is one of my favorite pictures! Here is the wand all ready to leave for it's new home. It was a birthday present (how cool!) and this is the reaction from the birthday girl! Thanks for the pictures :D
Thanks so much for the picture! I loved this green wand, it was so much fun to make. I love how the gold gets darker and more brilliant as it travels up the wand. (It's being held upside-down but that's a-ok :D) So glad you guys loved it so much! It was a blast to make :D

This awesome Aunt watches Harry Potter with her niece and used twizzlers as wands! She ordered a wand for her niece and I had to send her one too!! No one should use a twizzler ;)

Harry Potter Wand Sold :D
Hey there everyone
So a little while back I had someone buy one of my Harry Potter inspired wands on Etsy. She just sent me an email saying that she got the wand today and will be giving it to the recipient on Thursday :D I wanted to share some of the pictures I took of the wand before I mailed it, because well I thought it looked pretty amazing!! First here is the message I got with the order: Hello! I love the look of these wands and my friendis 18 soon and a BIG fan of harry potter! Her favorite colour is red and her favorite house is Griffindoor so i was wondering if the colours could be red and Gold? also if the centre could dragon heart string mixed with a pheonix feather. I'm not too fussed on the wood type. Do you know the wood type of a great griffindoor's wand or the elderwand? I'm not a genius when it comes to harry potter but my friend loves the books etc. so i'll leave the initail design of the wand up to you (plus you'll have more of an idea!!) Thankyou in advance, sorry for the long comment! <3
So I got started on making a Gryffindor styled wand! This was the end result!

I heard from Becky again today:
OMG i got it today! It's brilliant! I'm too scared to open it to see what it looks like because i'm awful at rapping so it wouldn't look as pretty! Thankyou for the little extra, you're a star!
You're the best person i've bought from, from Etsy!I'm seeing her on Thursday so i will let you know her reaction (and mine!!)Thankyou so much again!!
Needless to say her reaction made my day and I HAD to share it with you all! :D
Unfortunately it is hard to tell from these pictures that the wand itself is sort of a burnt cranberry red and the handle is a sparkling golden copper color, I didn't notice until after the wand was already mailed! Maybe Becky will take a few more pictures when she opens it :D
Anyway if you want your own custom wand check out my listings on etsy!
Thanks for checking it out :D

NPM: Harry Potter Knitted Sweater
So it's Monday and that means its time for a new project! I have been working on this Harry Potter American Girl sweater project for a LONG time. It's something I started a while ago and put down, I picked it back up last week and FINALLY finished it!! The pattern is from Liberty Jane, and while I love their items (affordable, easy to read patterns, who wouldn't!), this one was a bit of a disappointment for me! I followed the pattern exactly, but was upset that everything ended up being way to big :( The worst part is that I didn't even add in the extra stitches like they suggest to make the sleeves "wider". Not to mention that they want you to add in extra colors on the neckline after you have cast off... not an easy task for any knitter! I ended up crocheting mine because it looked more even and professional. As such I have decided to write my own pattern for a snugger fitting sweater based off of what I learned with this sweater. If you would like I can share that pattern here once it has been written (it may take a while, I'm slow with my patterns sometimes!!) I am also working on a matching crochet Harry Potter style skirt like the ladies wear in the Harry Potter movies! I will post that when it's done as well :D
Anyway, here is my very first ever sweater :D
Hope you liked the pictures :) as usual comments are welcomed!!
Until tomorrow!

Anyway, here is my very first ever sweater :D
This is my lovely "Mia" doll who I got on craigslist... she is a bit of a mess, but I love her anyway :P Someone cut her braid, so I have been working on fixing her "bangs" to look flat and cute, so far it looks a million times better... thinking of posting befores and afters tomorrow!
Mia is a Gryffindor as you can tell by the red and gold details in her sweater!
Mia's wand is handmade by me, if you would like your own doll size wand (or a full size wand for yourself!) you can find them on my etsy shop here
Hope you liked the pictures :) as usual comments are welcomed!!
Until tomorrow!
~Megan~
